What is Bottom Fishing?

Bottom Fishing is a simple, highly rewarding fishing technique where weighted lines with fresh bait are dropped directly to the seabed near coral reefs and structures. It requires minimal effort, making it easy and fun for everyone to catch colorful reef species like Red Snapper, Coral Trout, Sweetlips, Emperor Fish, and Groupers.

Tour Itinerary

Full-Day Trip (1 Day / ~7–8 Hours)

  • 06:30 AM – Hotel Pickup: Private pickup from your hotel (Senggigi, Mataram, Kuta, or Senaru) and scenic drive to Padak Guar Harbor in East Lombok.

  • 08:00 AM – Boat Boarding & Safety Briefing: Board our local outrigger boat (outrigger wooden boat), meet your friendly local captain, and get set up with your fishing handlines or light rods.

  • 08:30 AM – Morning Bottom Fishing Session 1: Anchor near prime reef spots around Gili Kondo and Gili Bidara. Drop your baited lines into the calm waters and target colorful coral fish.

  • 11:30 AM – Beach Island Break & Fresh Fish BBQ: Land on the white sand beaches of Gili Kondo. Relax under the shade, swim, or enjoy a delicious lunch including a freshly grilled barbecue of your catch of the day alongside local side dishes and fresh tropical fruits.

  • 01:30 PM – Snorkeling & Light Fishing Session 2: Put on your snorkeling gear to explore the vibrant underwater marine life around Gili Kondo, followed by a second light fishing spot.
