Mount Tambora is an active stratovolcano located on the island of Sumbawa, Indonesia. The mountain is located in the two districts, namely Dompu (mostly feet south to the west side of the sea, and the Bima district (south side of the slope to the northwest, and the feet to the east side of the peak to the north), West Nusa Tenggara Province.

Day pack, Trekking shoes or walking shoes, Raincoat, Trek poles, Clothes easy to dry when it wet (top and trouser for walking), Personal medicine, Snack or personal food for nibble, Camera or documentation stuff, Head lamp.
TAMBORA TREK ITINERARY :
Arrival Day:
We will pick you up at the Airport or anywhere on the island of Lombok with our personal vehicles, travel about 2 hours to reach the hotel in Mataram. Then meet with us to discuss about your the program to Mount Tambora Sumbawa and the cost you pay here for all the programs to Tambora Sumbawa. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 1 Tambora Trek:
Begin from your hotel to the port of Labuan Lombok, travel by private vehicle about 2 hours. Then by ship to the island of Sumbawa, approximately 2 hours by ferry to the island of Sumbawa in Poto Tanu. From Poto Tanu then proceed to travel to Sumbawa Besar City approximately 2 hours and stay at Hotel Kencana Sumbawa Besar.
Day 2 Tambora Trek:
At 8 am in the morning we will go to the Moyo Island with a 1.5 hour boat trip on the sea and the island of Moyo go to the waterfall and see the natural beauty of the island of Moyo. After lunch we proceed to Satonda Island for 2 hours to see Danau Satonda ( Lake ) then to calabai by boat about 2 hours of sea travel. Of calabai continue the journey by private vehicle to the Pancasila Village.
Pancasila Village is located at the feet of Mount Tambora. This hamlet is a small village quite crowded. Its inhabitants are mostly farmers and Farmers Rice Coffee. Dinner and spend the night here in tents.
Day 3 Tambora Trek:
After breakfast at 8.00.am we started the Mount Tambora trekking to posts 3 which will takes about 6 hours. After an hour walk, we will begin the walk in forests. and continues to the post 2 normal walk within 2 hours from this place, through the rise with a slope length being on a ridge of the hill until the passing lane down to Pos 2. This place is located on the edge of the river that flows, and the rest here for lunch.
Having finished lunch and adequate rest to the next trip Post 3 passed up and down the path to forest type open, reeds and shrubs. The path of the open and in the middle of the trip to post 3, we can see the area of the crater rim of Mount Tambora in the distance. After a 3 hour walk we arrived at Post 3 which is a very public place and in this place there is a water source and stay over night here in the tent.
Day 4 Tambora Trek:
After a cup of coffee or hot tea with toast at 02.00 am in the morning start the Tambora trekking program bring enough supplies while other equipment left in post 3. must be careful because in addition to the path climbs too much through the roots of plants growing brambles along the path post 3 to 5. we past post 4 within 2 hours from post 3, trekking up continue to post 5 and short break for 2nd breakfast with some biscuits, coffee or tea here. after breakfast continue to trekking up to Tambora summit with a very open terrain and begin to climb in the hardened sand, 1.5 hours we will reach the top of Tambora 2,850 m above sea level.
Having An hour in the peak Tambora enjoy the view and take pictures, the crater of Mount Tambora is famous all over the world due to the crater of Mount Tambora eruption formed a very wide with a circumference of 30 km, diameter of 7 km and a depth of 1.2 km, and is also the craters widest, and deepest in the world, a trip back down to the post 3 continued overnight in post 3.
Day 5 Tambora Trek:
8.00 am we walk down for 5 hours to Pancasila Village , from here to Kadindi by Car about an hour and spend night at Hotel Wisma Kadindi.
Day 6 Tambora Trek:
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to travel in Bima town, travel about 6 hours by private vehicle. In the Bima city we are going to Bima Traditional Houses and Museum Bima. Then stay at Hotel Lambitu Bima.
Day 7 Tambora Trek:
For those of you who want to continue the journey to the island of Komodo, Flores island or want to return by plane then our trip ends here. For those of you who will return to Lombok we continue the journey to the Port of Poto Tanu with private vehicles continued to ride a ship to Labuan Lombok. Then a trip to the hotel and stay over night here.
Day 8 Tambora Trek:
